Answer

I am advised by NZTA that the individual provided a Certificate of Particulars (CoP) that was found to be fraudulent in November 2025. It was the same CoP they provided with their original overseas conversion application. As an enforcement action, NZTA revoked the individual’s Class 5 licence. The individual subsequently requested that NZTA reconsider the revocation and instead apply a suspension from commercial driving with a testing option, consistent with the approach taken for others in this cohort. NZTA agreed to this request. The suspension remained in place until the individual obtained a new Class 1 licence in January 2026.
