Hon Chris Bishop

Member for Hutt South · National Party · Minister of Transport

Answer

I am advised by NZTA that the review regarding the current risk profile and effectiveness of the Certificate of Particulars control is due to be completed by the end of June 2026. I expect the outcome of the review to be reported to me shortly thereafter and requirements on those applying for an overseas conversion to be made clear on the NZTA website.
