What is the most recent monthly count of fuel tanker arrivals at New Zealand ports for March and April 2026, and how do those figures compare with March and April 2025?

Answer
The most recent monthly counts of fuel tanker arrivals at New Zealand ports show that in February 2026 there were 21 arrivals, in March 2026 there were 11 arrivals, and in April 2026 there were 16 arrivals. In comparison, February 2025 recorded 18 arrivals, while both March and April 2025 recorded 16 arrivals each. While there is a noticeable decrease in March 2026 compared to March 2025, April figures remain consistent across both years, and February 2026 shows an increase compared to February 2025. Overall, these numbers indicate a broadly stable pattern of arrivals year on year. This consistency supports the view that the fuel supply chain continues to operate smoothly, with fuel continuing to flow into the country as expected.
