Answer

I have received general advice on the impact the fuel shock (and reduced vehicle movements) is expected to have on National Land Transport Fund (NLTF) revenue. I have not received specific advice on implications for the Roads of National Significance. I have also received high-level advice on the impact that delaying fuel excise duty (FED) and road user charges (RUC) increases would have on the NLTF as a whole (but not the RONS specifically). This is something we will be thinking through carefully and no decisions have been made.
