Answer

We understand Starboard Maritime Intelligence secured new investment in August 2025. The contract was novated from the New Zealand Defence Force to the Ministry of Transport from 1 July 2025. The Ministry of Transport is not aware of a notification to the Overseas Investment Office or a national security screening process.
