    Further to his corrected reply to Written Parliamentary Question 5215 (2025), was the date of 13 February 2025 listed against briefing GSR-25-18517 the date the briefing was received by his office, the date it was sent by Kāinga Ora, or a date entered in error when the reply was corrected, and if the latter, what is the correct date of receipt?

    Further to his corrected reply to Written Parliamentary Question 5215 (2025), which lists briefing GSR-25-18517 "Variation request to IAF funding agreement with Hutt City Council, RiverLink development" as received from Kāinga Ora on 13 February 2025, and further to his reply to Written Parliamentary Question 8121 (2026), in which he states that on 2 March 2025 he read a Kāinga Ora status report noting the briefing was still due to him and that it was not provided to his office until 12 March 2025, can he explain how the same briefing was both received on 13 February 2025 and not yet received as of 2 March 2025?

The amended reply was not sufficiently reviewed for accuracy, and I thank the member for bringing this to my attention. Initially, the briefing was excluded from a WPQ response due to a delay in recording/logging the briefing when it was received by my office. When the briefing was recorded, the staff member accidentally wrote ‘13/02/2025’ instead of ‘12/03/2025’ as the date received. This was a manual data entry error – setting off a subsequent chain of errors, like the wrong WPQ being corrected. I have now corrected: - WPQ 5215 (2025) by removing reference to “KO, 13/02/2025, GSR-25-18517, Variation request to IAF funding agreement with Hutt City Council, RiverLink development” - WPQ 10962 (2025) by adding reference to that briefing, with the correct date received of 12/03/2025, and - WPQ 36141 (2025) by updating the reference to which WPQ has been corrected.
