Answer
In February 2024, the Prime Minister assigned me the portfolio responsibility for RMA national direction as part of the RMA Reform. I have exercised these powers in accordance with section 7 of the Constitution Act 1986. Policy decisions on RMA national direction have been made in consultation with relevant portfolio Ministers, including the Minister for the Environment where appropriate.
