Answer

I am advised Corrections has interpreted ‘senior staff’ as General Managers, Deputy General Managers, and Deputy General Managers Site Pathways. I am further advised that to provide the cost of these secondments would amount to substantial collation and manual analysis, which I am not prepared to ask of officials for the purpose of this response. Since 1 January 2024, there have been 89 secondments at the General Manager and Deputy General Manager level across Rimutaka, Auckland and Christchurch Men’s Prisons. I refer the member to the attached table for details of these secondments.
