Does Fire and Emergency New Zealand have a national defect fleet recording system, or similar recording system that tracks fleet defects and/or breakdowns, and if so, how many breakdowns have occurred to their fleet since January 2021, broken down into year and quarter?

Answer
I am advised that Fire and Emergency New Zealand does not have a national defect fleet recording system that is capable of systematically tracking and reporting on fleet defects or breakdowns. As a result, Fire and Emergency is unable to provide a comprehensive could of breakdowns since January 2021, including by year and quarter. However, Fire and Emergency is in the process of implementing a new fault management system intended to capture appliance breakdown data, including the number of breakdowns.
