Answer
I have received the following briefings regarding Artificial Intelligence use in Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting Tool (SMART) development, SMART delivered assessments, or subject exemplars produced for SMART delivered assessments: • 14 December 2023: Report - Progressing commitments related to assessment and aromatawai • 8 October 2024: Report -Twice-yearly assessment of Year 3 to 8 students (Phase 1) • 4 December 2024: Report - Assessment and Aromatawai Standardised Tool Business Case 17 January 2025: Report - Draft cabinet paper and Budget 25 pre-approval letter- establishing a new Standardised Tool for Assessment and Aromatawai • 14 May 2025: Report - Direction for drafting of assessment and aromatawai requirements • 28 November 2025: Report- Assessment and reporting Tool (SMART) Assessments. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles.
