Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) only receives updated student data from the schools’ student management systems (SMS). Schools are the primary source of information and update data as required. This provides the Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting Tool (SMART) the class centric details that it requires. Class details are not held by the Ministry. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 17150 and 17151 (2026).
