Answer
The briefings I received since 1 January 2026 regarding diesel boilers in schools are listed below: • 2 April 2026 – Information Update: Diesel Boiler Use in Schools • 8 April 2026 – Information Update: School Property Response to Fuel Price Volatility. • 9 April 2026 – Rapid Response: Energy Announcement • 15 April 2026 – Information Update: Fuel Support Announcement • 16 April 2026 – Information Update: Further Fuel Q&As • 20 April 2026 – Rapid Response: Additional Material for the Minister’s Post Cabinet Announcement. Additionally, I received a briefing with a draft Cabinet paper attached from the Ministry of Education: • 15 April 2026 – Information Update: Updated Cabinet Paper on Investment Package to support schools through fuel supply uncertainty I took this paper, titled: Phase 1 Plan to support schools through the impacts of fuel supply uncertainty, to Cabinet on 20 April 2026. This answer does not cover members of my office who receive a large amount of material every week. Asking them to collate the material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles.
