Answer

I am advised that on 5 February 2024, a number of changes were made to the Flexi-Wage Employment Subsidy Programme. The changes included adjusting the maximum payable, allowing wage subsidies to be paid in variable weekly amounts; Increasing the amount available for participants to undertake short-term employment-related training; and applying the 52-week maximum to the employer instead of the employee. This is also my response to WPQ 16465 (2026)
