What is the total projected funding provided by the Ministry of Education, if any, to the Auckland Schools Teacher Development Trust for the financial year 2026?

Hon Erica Stanford
Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Minister of Education
Answer
I am advised that the total projected funding by the Ministry of Education to the Teachers’ Institute is $3,167,360 (excluding GST). Given the Teachers’ Institute is the trading name for the Auckland Schools Teacher Development Trust, this is also my response to written parliamentary question 162 (2026).
