Were any terrorist acts committed by the American Proud Boys (APB) that were considered prior to their 2022 designation as a terrorist entity under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002 also mentioned in the 2025 statement of case to designate the APB as a terrorist entity?

Answer

I am advised that the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has proactively released documents relating to the designation of the American Proud Boys that expired under section 29B of the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002 on 19 June 2025, this included the 2025 statement of case. The proactive release is available on the Department’s website: Proactive Release: Designation of American Proud Boys as Terrorist Entity | Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC)
