Will the independent investigation be iwi-led regarding the recent events at Pukepuke Lagoon, if yes, how will the Department of Conservation support their investigation?

I am advised that the investigation will be Iwi-led. The Department of Conservation will assist the investigation by engaging with Iwi and relevant agencies, providing technical expertise, collating available data and historical information, and contributing to any resulting report.
