Answer

The Government has committed $28 million from the Community Renewable Energy Fund, $14 million from the Māori Housing Renewable Energy Fund and $2.5 million to support a combination of Māori housing, community-based or demonstration renewable energy projects to build energy resilience in communities and trial innovative ways to store and distribute locally generated electricity. A list of projects supported by these funds can be found on MBIE and EECA's websites.
