Answer

The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) receives advice from government, industry and regional stakeholders to inform its investment guidance. MBIE officials provide TEC with advice on both sector-specific and labour market developments. This has recently included the space, natural resources (mining and geothermal) and construction sectors. This also includes regional information where relevant.
