Answer
I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that five change processes have occurred since 27 November 2023 with the following net position FTE reductions: -Fiscal Sustainability and Effectiveness 2024 (-37.39 FTE) -Governance Puni - Realignment for Strategic Impact (-0 FTE) -Librarian proposal for change (-1 FTE) -Te Ara Whakamua | The Way Forward 2025 (Regions, Governance and parts of Strategy) (-25.75 FTE) -Te Ara Whakamua | The Way Forward 2025 (Strategy and Policy) (-13.15 FTE) I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that final decisions are yet to be made on the current change proposal. I am further advised in this same time period, there have been position FTE increases as a result of: -Te Arawhiti transfer of functions to Te Puni Kōkiri (+44 FTE) -Budget 2025 additional funding for Statutory Entities and Appointments (+2 FTE) -increasing permanent resourcing in the Regions puni (+6 FTE) -increasing the FTE of some part time positions (+0.27 FTE).
