Answer

I am advised that following the start of the current conflict in the Middle East, officials from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) met with officials from the Commerce Commission to discuss respective approaches to monitoring fuel prices in this context. MBIE advised the Commerce Commission in this meeting that the publication of importer margin estimates would be temporarily paused.
