Answer

I am advised the Justice Property Partnership (JPP) Project, which included new builds for the Rotorua High and District Court, Rotorua Māori Land Court, and Waitākere District Court, had a Detailed Business Case previously approved by Cabinet in October 2024. The JPP Project was presented to the NZ Infrastructure Investment Summit in 2025. The Ministry of Justice continues to work closely with the government to seek funding through the annual budget cycle to progress this project.
