How many, if any, employment case managers does the Ministry of Social Development employ, broken down by year since 2015?

Answer
As at 31 March 2026, I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) currently has 2254.9 FTE Case Managers. Employment case managers are not a specific job title and thus MSD does not record the number of Employment case managers. MSD ensures that an adequate number of case managers are ring-fenced to deliver employment case management to 70,000 clients at any point in time. I refer the Member to the attached table, which provides the number of Case Managers as at the end of each completed financial year from 2015.
