Answer

I am advised Fire and Emergency New Zealand is working with emergency service partners to align planning assumptions under the National Fuel Plan. This includes assumptions about maintaining access to fuel for critical emergency response, the potential for sustained fuel price pressures or supply constraints, and the need to prioritise fuel use for life-safety activities.
