How many, if any, ports do not currently have an official from Customs New Zealand on site; and how many, if any, do?

Answer
I am advised that seven of the 16 Customs sea ports do not currently have a permanent Customs officer on site, representing 43.75 percent of all Customs seaports in New Zealand. Where Customs officers are not permanently based on site, these ports are resourced from the nearest major seaport, or Customs office.
