Answer

Minister McClay is leading the Government’s primary sector response to the conflict in the Middle East. I have not received any information or advice to date from the Ministry for Primary Industries on the impact of the war at the Strait of Hormuz on rural communities. I have been verbally briefed at meetings with MPI officials.
