What national fuel stock level, if any, would trigger an emergency allocation of fuel to hospitals or health facilities?
Answered by
Hon Simeon Brown
Member for Pakuranga · National Party · Minister of Health
Answer
I am advised that the National Fuel Plan sets out fuel allocation and prioritisation measures across four phases, dependent on national fuel stock levels. Hospitals and health facilities have been identified as life-supporting and essential services requiring ongoing fuel allocation to maintain continuity. Supporting these services will continue to be a priority through all four phases.
