Answer

The Department of Conservation advises me that the most recent restructure to take effect was the change to the Biodiversity Heritage and Visitors Business Group, as follows: decision document released on 11 November 2025; new structure took effect from 2 March 2026; 27 positions disestablished; 51 new positions established (which included 11 fixed term positions being converted to permanent positions); and net increase of 13 positions. There were no redundancies due to this restructure.
