Answer

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) has advised me the matter has not been referred to New Zealand Police or any other enforcement agency. As noted in my response to Written Parliamentary Question 11665 (2026), NZTA is currently taking advice and considering whether to issue infringement notices or pursue prosecution action in relation to these individuals. NZTA also advises that they have been auditing any subsequent applications made by these individuals following cancellation.
