Answer

As Minister of Transport, I do not have responsibility for leading on the National Fuel Plan development or implementation. I have therefore not sought advice or provided direction on the National Fuel Plan to any of the departments, agencies or crown entities that I am responsible for as Minister of Transport. However, transport officials are working closely with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment to support its advice to Ministers on the National Fuel Plan, and to ensure next steps for the Plan appropriately consider implications for the transport sector.
