Meetings are often declined for a variety of reasons, including scheduling, travel, conflicting events, or other pressing matters. Those requests that have been declined may be reconsidered when the diary permits. I am advised that my office does not collate the reasons for declining invitations in a searchable format. Requiring my staff to deviate from their core day-to-day duties to collate this information is not in the public interest.
