What events or meetings, if any, did the Minister decline to attend during the week beginning 9 March, including location, event description, and attendees?
Answered by
Hon Erica Stanford
Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Minister of Immigration
Answer
Meetings are often declined for a variety of reasons, including scheduling, travel, conflicting events, or other pressing matters. Those requests that have been declined may be reconsidered when the diary permits. I am advised that requests for meetings or to attend events may come through multiple channels into my office. Requiring my staff to deviate from their core day-to-day duties to collate this information is not in the public interest.
