Question

  • What new artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, tools, or platforms, if any, have been commissioned, contracted, or deployed by any department or entity for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, listed by system name, supplier, purpose, contract value, and date of commissioning?

Answered by

Hon Paul Goldsmith

List MP · National Party · Minister for Media and Communications

Answer

As the Minister for Media and Communications, I am not responsible for any departments. As per Speaker’s Ruling 199/6, I do not consider it to be in the public interest to undertake an exercise to identify and collate the material requested for any entities I am responsible for, as it will require a significant diversion of resource. The Member may wish to consider asking a more specific question.
