Answer

I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that there are two new artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, tools, or platforms that have been commissioned, contracted, or deployed within the ministry since 27 November 2023. I am further advised that three of the Crown entities have not deployed any new AI or machine learning systems. The Social Workers Registration Board has deployed one AI tool during the relevant period. These are broken down in the attached table.
